The Goshen Health Foundation takes a “together, we can do more” approach when it comes to philanthropy. When they completed their successful capital campaign for the hospital’s new patient tower, the Goshen Health Foundation needed a way to permanently commemorate all of the generous donors that contributed to the massive community fundraising effort. LightBox was honored to design and create beautifully crafted donor signage to celebrate our local health care system and the generosity of so many.

GOALS
In honoring the Goshen Health Foundation’s generous donors, we wanted to make sure the signage would not only be beautiful and look timeless, but we also wanted to make sure they complimented the hospital’s current signage. LightBox conducted a sign audit to take into account the various signage that already existed in the hospital and new patient tower. We worked closely with local artisans and woodworkers at Elko Hardwoods to create custom made sugar maple plaques with a teal resin accent that matched Goshen Health’s brand colors. We also collaborated with local vendors for the custom engraving and installation.
Each donor sign was paired with a corresponding commemorative plaque that the Goshen Health Foundation presented to every donor. These commemorative take home plaques served to acknowledge and honor each and every act of generosity.

In addition to the custom donor plaques, we also designed special honorific signage for the lobby, conference rooms, known as “The Arbors” and the Birthplace. These signs commemorate large gifts that were made during the hospital’s capital campaign.

LightBox didn’t just make signs — they told a story. Each piece in our donor recognition program for the Campaign for Goshen Health was a work of art, weaving natural wood, flowing river lines, and local charm into something both beautiful and deeply symbolic. Their design honored our donors with warmth, meaning, and a quiet sense of place that said ‘thank you’ in a language all its own. I deeply appreciate their collaborative spirit that sometimes led, sometimes followed, but always listened while we worked with various partners to complete the effort.
