2023-2024 Pricing Updates

Over the last few years, we have grown in size, services and capacities, and are consequently making several changes to our pricing in many different areas. Outlined below are the areas where changes are coming, beginning in September of 2023. Other changes will go into effect in 2024.

We understand that these sorts of financial updates are never really welcome, but like many small businesses, we are making the necessary adjustments to remain sustainable and to continue providing an excellent experience. Changes Effective 9/1/23

 

Hourly Rates

We have increasingly moved to project based pricing or monthly retainer packages in general, though we still occasionally work on smaller projects on an hourly basis. We have managed to maintain the same rate of $120/hr over that last three years, but beginning on September 1, 2023, our new hourly rate will be $150/hr.

 

Invoicing Changes

We are also implementing some changes with our invoicing practices and fee structures. These changes will go into effect in the beginning on September 1, 2023.

• Due Dates
  All invoices will by default be changed to a Net 15 for payment. If it is not possible to make payments within this window, please reach out to us to make special arrangements.
• Additional Fees
  For invoices paid by credit card or debit card, we will now be applying an industry standard 3% transaction fee. We will also be increasing our late fees from 5% to 10% on all past due invoices.
• Discounts
  As an incentive for prompt payments, invoices that are paid within 7 days will have the transaction fee waived (if paid by credit card), and also have a 2% discount applied.

 

Changes Effective 1/1/24

 

Monthly Support Plans

Over the last several years we have been maintaining many clients at legacy rates, but this is no longer sustainable. Beginning on January 1, 2024, the majority of our monthly support plans and packages will be standardized. This applies primarily to our standard, monthly support retainer packages (Webcare, 20W, 40W, 70W, 130W). The cost of standard domain registrations and hosting packages are included in our support packages. Custom-built support packages will continue to be billed as their same rate. Domain REGISTRATIOn

The following rates will go into effect beginning on January 1, 2024 for all domain registrations:

• All .com domain registrations will be $19.99 per year
• All .co domain registrations will be $19.99 per year
• All .net domain registrations will be $19.99 per year
• All .org domain registrations will be $19.99 per year

Please contact us for additional details on other less-common TLDs. Additional discounts are available for longer term commitments. 

Domain Hosting

The following rates will go into effect beginning on January 1, 2024 for customers who are not on a monthly support plan but have their their site hosted by us:

All hosting fees paid for the year will receive a 10% discount. Additional discounts are available for longer term commitments. Please contact us directly for a more detailed breakdown of hosting packages and features, including enterprise level options.

Moving forward, all websites hosted with us will feature a industry leading Content Delivery Network called Cloudflare.  Cloudflare is one of the biggest networks operating on the Internet. We use Cloudflare services to turbo boost performance, resulting in increased speed in site loading, as well as additional levels of security.
